….as OYRLEA Strengthens Ties

 

The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Femi Haruna, psc(+), has reassured his commitment to enhance security in the State withTactical Team Support.

 

The declaration was made by CP Haruna, on Friday, during a courtesy visit paid by the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority, OYRLEA, led by the Chairperson, Honourable Justice Aderonke Adekemi Aderemi (Rtd.) alongside the Executive Adviser to the Governor on the Rule of Law Enforcement, CP Sonubi Ayodele Olufemi (Rtd.), at the Oyo State Police Command, Eleyele, Ibadan.

 

The purpose of the visit centered on Strengthening Security Ties with the Nigerian Police Force during Enforcement in the course of operational activities.

Speaking during the visit, the OYRLEA Chairperson, Justice Aderemi (Rtd.) lauded the relationship, cooperation and collaboration between the Police and the Authority, but seeks a more robust synergy and support from the Police Force as Enforcement Exercise gets more intense and deepened in the State. Adding that this synergy is expected to yield improved security outcomes during enforcement activities.

 

The CP, in his response assured of his team’s tactical support across boards to enhance State’s Security. He affirmed that sharing intelligence and needed information will assist in

coordinating efforts to combat threats and enhance the developing of joint strategies during operations.

 

Adding that, the OYRLEA, in carrying out its mandate should be rest assured of high level responses to specific threats and high-risk incidents effectively.

 

The E.A. on The Rule of Law Enforcement, CP Sonubi (Rtd.) remarked on the need for a coordinated action to address emergencies and take cover for Enforcement procedures. He stressed the importance of Police support alongside other Security Operatives in the State, especially in volatile areas, to guarantee maximum security and ensure continuous success of the Rule of Law

In attendance were some Deputy Commissioners of Police and Assistant Commissioners of Police. The Environmental Taskforce Chairman, DCP Francis Ojomo (Rtd.) was on the entourage of the OYRLEA Chairperson, alongside the Management team.
